As an escrow processor with a title company, I'm not sure what I did before using Target Surveying. Always consistent, on time, thorough, the best prices, huge service area, super fast responses to email and requests, and super knowledgeable- they always have an answer for me... I'm sure I could keep going. I'm not even sure what the low star rating is for. It's real estate- lots of frustration. And Target Surveying has come through to save the day/closing for us on more than one occasion. Thanks Target Team!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Eric & Debi from Target Surveying for a boundary survey in the west Marion Co. Fl area. We cannot express how excellent they were throughout the entire process! They were dedicated and extremely supportive, . Their professionalism and teamwork truly made a difference. I used this company for several surveys and, unfortunately, my experience became increasingly frustrating over time.
The biggest issue was organization and communication. Pricing changed from what I was initially quoted, and I often received conflicting information from different members of the team.
My final survey took several months to complete because the company had to return to the property multiple times. The delays, combined with the inconsistent communication and changing expectations, ultimately led me to stop using their services.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this company.
They provided a massive 7 hour arrival window (9 AM to 4 PM), then failed to show up on the scheduled day without any notice. I followed up by text and received no response.
During our earlier communication, I made it very clear that we work from home and are on calls throughout the day. I specifically requested a simple courtesy call before arrival so I could step away and secure my dogs. I was told the surveyor would call ahead.
That never happened.
Instead, they showed up the following day, unannounced, early in the morning, and rang the doorbell while I was on the phone with an attorney. My dogs immediately went into chaos, forcing me to interrupt an important call and scramble to manage the situation.
This was entirely avoidable.
I understand that schedules change. What I do not understand is the complete lack of communication, failure to follow a clearly agreed upon request, and ignoring follow up messages.
This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I would not hire this company, and I would not recommend them to anyone.
