My 25y old AC Unit gave up on me on a Tuesday Night. A Friend referred me to SunKool AC in Ocala. I called them and Mr James came the next Day to see what I need gave me an Estimate and brought me a mobil Window Unit. I have a so called conversion Unit Electric/ Gas, so I had to wait till Monday to get a whole new Carrier Unit installed. Both Installers came at 9am and went right to work.
Don B. was installing the Inside part and Gage F. the Outside. Both Installers been friendly
polite and answered all my Questions. They been working nonestop to get my Air going lol
I even meet the Supervisor who stopped by and ask kindly if I had questions. And James checking on the Crew least 3x
This Company really cares and offers fair Pricing.

After years of reliable service as a satisfied customer, my recent experience with Sun Kool was profoundly disappointing. I scheduled an AC inspection for my rental unit and explicitly requested a heads-up call, so I, the homeowner, could be present. I explicitly told them I lived 5 to 10 minutes away from my rental unit, and the person scheduling the appointment noted they would certainly give me a 20-minute heads-up call.
However, the call never came. The technician was let in by the tenant, then he proceeded to diagnose the issue and installed a part without any prior discussion, options, or authorization from me, the homeowner. I received a call to make a cc payment, but I had previously noted while scheduling the appointment that I would pay via check.
I contacted a supervisor about the communication breakdown and the unauthorized work that was performed. She did apologize that I never received the call. However, we were unable to come to an agreement as the only options/solutions she gave me were either to pay full price for the unapproved services plus the base $120 for the trip OR pay the $120 trip fee and have the part removed.
I would have preferred to find an alternate middle ground, but the supervisor's ultimate response was to suggest I take my business elsewhere.
It's shocking how quickly a long-standing positive relationship can sour due to a simple mistake (their appointment specialist not writing down clear instructions leading to unauthorized tampering of my AC unit) compounded by a complete unwillingness to find a middle ground.
Side note: My Tenant mentioned the technician poked a hole in the duct, leading to the roof of the house. I'm confused about the reasoning (to help determine what was wrong with the unit). Hence why I always ask them to call me so I can be present.

I highly recommend Sun Kool! As a snowbird, it is very important to me that the companies I work with have the best team working for them. Can you imagine returning home and find out you have no air conditioning in the heat of August! Well, that happened to me. I called Sun Kool and told them my story. They assured me that a technician would be out within a few hours. And he was! Thankfully, it was a part that was in stock. My air conditioning was up and running !
I am so grateful to Sun Kool for their excellent customer service and very knowledgeable technicians !

I had a great experience with Sun Kool for my heating and air conditioning needs. From the first call to the final service they were professional responsive and incredibly knowledgeable. The technician arrived on time explained everything clearly and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. It's rare to find a company that combines great service honest pricing and genuine care for their customers. I highly recommend them.

I love Sun Kool. They have always responded quickly. Great customer service and experience techs that really know their stuff. In this Florida heat, you need to keep their number handy. When friends ask me about air conditioning service, I always recommend Sun Kool. Tell ‘em BaddBob sent ya!! 😎
I always poor a bootle of A/C Line down the drain pipe when I change my filter. Never clogs now.
