We bought a Clearwater spa on Memorial Day from Angela. We paid cash to save 3%. The written purchase agreement included a cover, chemical starter kit, steps and an electrician to power the tub. 1) They promised to call us Tuesday to set up the electrician but they didn’t call us. We finally called them on Thursday and the electrician finally installed it on the following Tuesday. The electrician did a great job. 2) When Peter delivered the Hot tub it was clear that he and his helper had not done this before they were very unaware of how the dolly worked for the hot tub and how to load and unload the hot tub. Finally, they got the hot tub in place and then they fumbled to set it up. It was like they didn’t know anything about the tub. We would ask questions about how to fill it how to set up the chemicals and all we got were vague answers. 3) The purchase included the chemical starter kit, but Peter did not bring it, and he tried to charge us again for it! 4) The purchase included the steps and again Peter did not bring them. We finally got the steps and the chemicals two days later. But Peter did not know how to set up the chemicals. Keep in mind this a company that advertises that they take care of pools. This is totally unacceptable! We also asked about a hydraulic lift for the cover. Peter said they aren’t available but one click to Amazon says they are available. Again this is a pool company that does not know their products. My best advice is to shop somewhere else if you’re in the market for a hot tub.

I took a pool vacuum purchased from them in for service. They told me that it had both motors burned out and was unrepairable. (The unit operated fine in dry operation as I witnessed their demonstration when I brought it in). I opted to pick the cleaner up and glad I did since it worked fine when I got it home after replacing the cord myself. They are a scam operation and wanted me to purchase a new item and they could keep my unit and resell or use for parts. I will never give these people my business again and you shouldn't either!!!@ less than one star for me!! Definitely the Pine Ave. Ocala store. No paperwork generated because you told me it was unfixable due to two burned out motors. It's been working beautifully after I replaced the cord.

This Pinch a Penny is always a disappointment compared to the one on Silver Springs. The only reason why I go to it is because it's closer to my home. The wait is always very long. They fill the jugs that you bring in, instead of having pre-filled jugs that you exhange for your empties (like the Pinch a Penny on Silver Springs). However, the customer service is always bad. You have to ask them for help out to your car because they never offer and then they act like you are asking for the world. Usually, they just shove the wheeled cart at you and walk off. The lady today was not helpful at all as I struggled to push the cart out to my car, unload alone, and struggle the cart back.

We bought a hot tub. They delivered it on the date we asked. They said the steps did not come in yet so we are waiting on those to be delivered next week. Over all experience was great. The owner kept in contact with me through the whole experience and answered all questions that I had.

Nice owners with great service. Usually busy, but worth the wait. Chemicals are of good quality.
