Contacted Hefner Plumbing as we had developed a leak in our slab over Thanksgiving weekend. Dallas responded quickly and worked up a plan to repipe our house. Dallas made sure we understood all our options and described the entire process while patiently answering all our questions.
Dallas and Anthony showed up on time every day and worked hard to restore water to our home as soon as possible.
What could have been a very frustrating experience actually became reassuring and pleasant as everyone involved from the office staff to the technicians were extremely helpful and responsive.
Not only was the price reasonable but we very happy to find someone we can trust and recommend to others for all our future plumbing services.

Hefner is absolutely a 5 star company. They are not just the best plumbers in Ocala, I’d argue they are the best service team overall in Ocala. We have used Hefner for small and large things over the last couple of years- from a pump we didn’t realize was unplugged, to clogs, to a new water heater installation. They are always on time, let us know when they are on the way via text and call, and very respectful of our property. We’ve dealt the most with Dallas and Jordan, and they are both genuinely kind humans. Denise is always great when we call to schedule the team to come out (and patient with our incessant questions and terrrrrrible descriptions of what our issues!). We will be longtime loyal customers of Hefner and continue recommending them to everyone we know.

1,000 stars for this company! I don’t usually write many reviews, but this company genuinely moved me. I’ve been going through a really tough season with unexpected home repairs piling up, and when a major shower leak hit right as family were arriving for the holiday, it felt like the last thing I could handle. Tears were admittedly shed. I tried everything “Doctor Google” and YouTube could throw at me, but nothing worked. By the time I called this plumbing company, I was exhausted and honestly overwhelmed physically, emotionally and financially. I was pep-talking myself getting ready to bust open a wall in my kitchen to gain access to what I thought were old copper pipes that had sprung a leak. Denise (their scheduler) lovingly talked me into waiting for them to come do an assessment. It wasn't long before the owner himself, Sean, showed up at my door. He proceeded to send 2 other technicians (coincidentally one of which is the son of their scheduler - love the family synergy). They quickly had the issue resolved (no wall demolition needed).
From the very first conversation, their team showed me a level of compassion and understanding I didn’t expect from any service company. They didn’t rush me, they didn’t talk over me, and they treated my situation with real empathy. When they came out, they approached the problem with such patience, skill, and genuine care. It was clear I wasn’t just another job on their schedule—they saw a person who needed help, and they showed up with heart. They saved me in more ways than any of them likely realize! (and saved my kitchen wall too LOL)
The owner and staff are the kind of people who remind you that businesses can still be rooted in community, kindness, and integrity. Their generosity of spirit meant more to me than they will ever know. The repair was handled quickly and beautifully, and they brought me peace of mind at a moment when I truly needed it.
If you’re looking for a plumbing company who treats you like a neighbor, not a number, this is the one you can trust. I am deeply grateful for them and will never forget how they stepped in during such a stressful time. They have earned my loyalty for life.

Dallas did an excellent job installing our hot water heater, kitchen faucet, and shower head. He called ahead letting me know that he was on the way, which is always a good thing. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and my mother and I would gladly have him back out again if we ever need something plumbing related done.

So very happy with Hefner plumbing. They are fast and responsive whenever called. Everyone is respectful and knowledgeable. We had our whole house replumbed in 2020 and hot water heater replaced and softener added. I would highly recommend them for all all your plumbing needs.
