I have been a loyal customer of Broward Factory Service for over 20 years. This past month I had the most wonderful experience of speaking with Mr. Robert Herd, owner of BFS. Mr Herd sets the bar when it comes down to helping his trusted patrons. Our AC went out on.a weekend when the heat index was 107 degrees, a crisis situation. BFS came to our rescue. Mr Herd personally extended himself to help us get our HVAC running in these extreme conditions. Over the course of a few trips, technician Sully and crew were able to repair our HVAC unit! Mr Herd is a rare find in today's world of business....he personally "cared" about our situation and went over and beyond to help us. Sully was our hero as he worked tirelessly in the heat to get our HVAC repaired! BFS truly showed their dedication and concern for us. I can't recommend Broward Factory Service highly enough!! It is a reliable company with an emphasis on make the customer feel confident. Every one of the staff and tech employees there show a genuine interest in helping their customers. Chloe was particularly patient when I called with 2 refrigerator problems. She quickly got an appointment scheduled and was very helpful with times and arrival of the tech. Dan was knowledgeable and efficient while also being courteous and cheerful. When parts had to be ordered, Mark followed up immediately with additional information on the time it would take. We were called immediately when the parts came in, and Dan arrived again to complete the service by installing the new parts. I would rate BFS a perfect 10 if that were an option.

I phoned this company late Friday afternoon and announced my A/C was not working and that I purchased a maintenance agreement last August when I closed on my home. I was told a service technician would be at my home in 40 minutes.
He was indeed there in 40 minutes. This technician (Sully) was very patient and knowledgeable. After troubleshooting my unit, he communicated every aspect of what was wrong and fixed each issue in a timely manner. He is definitely an asset to Broward Factory Service. I would recommend this service company to everyone.

Would leave zero if possible. We had to sign for up for a home warranty and this is the one our realtor recommended- worst decision! It took 4 technicians and 3 months to finally figure out a valve knob was turned incorrectly on our dishwasher after moving into our home. 6 months later we began having trouble with our AC. 3 techs have come out- the first said coolant was low and filled it, the second said coolant was too high and took some out and guess what the third said? Coolant was too low and filled it. And yet our AC still does not work. The icing on the cake to this is that before the second visit we were told no one could come because they had stopped servicing Texas over the weekend on August 1st and that we had been notified 2 weeks prior- in fact we had not, we received that letter in the mail on August 4. After 3 phone calls to the local office and 1 to corporate someone finally agreed to come out since this was not a new claim. Well it still isn’t working but we are done dealing with them and rearranging our work schedules for them to just play around with coolant levels. Stay away from this company- they do not want to actually fix anything.

Don't get a home warranty that is serviced with these folks. They came out to check my washer, which worked when I moved in a month ago.. They claimed it was preexisting and the repair would be almost 400 dollars, cost to me. So $400 plus the $75 dollars they charged me. That is nuts. We could buy a new low end washer for that. Total rip off. I suggest you avoid at "all cost".
