We received their warranty as part of our home sale. The week after moving in we noticed our washer wasn’t working, I called and spoke to Lori. They had not received payment yet from the closing company as it was in the mail so they said now that they knew about this prior to the payment being processed it would be a pre existing condition and they would not cover it. She also said it would not be covered because the claim was within 30 days of the contact. She Talked to the manager and he also said they would not cover it.
As a new homeowner given a home warranty at closing it would seem logical that I have a home warranty.
No one told us up front —and it’s nowhere in the documentation that we cannot make a claim the first 30 days.
I would not recommend this business. Very unprofessional.
**update Sep 19, we had another reason to call for service today. We called at 5 PM and the answering machine said somebody would get back to us within one hour if it was off hours. It’s 8 PM and still no phone call.

Complete lack of communication and professionalism among the staff. I have been trying to renew my home warranty with a different plan since July 14 and they can only tell me the payment has been "pending" almost a month. Then today they tried telling me that I never even gave them the payment information and gave my card information to someone who doesn't even work there. I have spoken to Mary, Louise, and Jessica when I have called but I just keep getting the run around. I don't understand how there is no follow up. Will not be using their services again

We have had Broward warranties for 17 years on our property and our rental property. Always there when we needed. Had new Rheem ac and air handler installed April, very happy. Had a concern with vibration, called ladies in the office always so helpful, Laurie and Cristy if i got them correct. Sully showed up so quickly since he was in neighborhood, piece of insulation took care of it. Thank you Broward!

We had them replace HVAC unit. Once the sales call was over and the contract signed, the problems started to show up. Poor quality, did not pay attention to what we asked for. Did not do a good job. The town inspector had to come back. And the company rep started responding sporadically. On top of it, they are more expensive than many others. We thought we were getting quality for the price we paid, instead we got very poor customer service and poor quality.

Mis-diagnosed problem with washing machine. 3 visits to fix. Worked for about 4 weeks, then the same problem. Can’t get it fixed again because we didn’t renew. We didn’t renew based on service received. Called to speak to management and they never returned the call. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Broward Factory Service
