The technician, Dallas, who installed it was outstanding. He communicated clearly, explained everything in detail, and worked efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. After completing the water heater installation, he took the time to inspect my water softening system and noticed it had a leak. That’s where he truly exceeded expectations. He tracked down the part, fixed the leak, and sealed everything properly... all at no additional cost. In a day and age where it often feels like profits talks louder than service, I can honestly say the service spoke volumes in my experience. We had an issue with sewer smell inside the house that I spent weeks trying to solve. I thought calling a plumber would cost a fortune. I finally gave up and called Hefner plumbing. Dallas came to my house and within 15 minutes identified the problem and was able to come up with a fix. He was able to get the plumbing fixed and have our kitchen back in working order at a very reasonable price. Great work, great people! Highly recommend!

I called Hefner Plumbing because we had an issue with 2 of our toilets. Although I spent many years in construction, at my age I didn’t want to mess with trying to fix them myself. Anthony arrived with a fully stocked van and gave me an estimate to fix everything. An unexpected issue came up because of the cheap work that the builder had done, so it cost more than I originally expected.
Although it wasn’t cheap, it was in line with industry pricing, and they were timely, courteous, and did a great job.

Hefner is absolutely a 5 star company. They are not just the best plumbers in Ocala, I’d argue they are the best service team overall in Ocala. We have used Hefner for small and large things over the last couple of years- from a pump we didn’t realize was unplugged, to clogs, to a new water heater installation. They are always on time, let us know when they are on the way via text and call, and very respectful of our property. We’ve dealt the most with Dallas and Jordan, and they are both genuinely kind humans. Denise is always great when we call to schedule the team to come out (and patient with our incessant questions and terrrrrrible descriptions of what our issues!). We will be longtime loyal customers of Hefner and continue recommending them to everyone we know.

Contacted Hefner Plumbing as we had developed a leak in our slab over Thanksgiving weekend. Dallas responded quickly and worked up a plan to repipe our house. Dallas made sure we understood all our options and described the entire process while patiently answering all our questions.
Dallas and Anthony showed up on time every day and worked hard to restore water to our home as soon as possible.
What could have been a very frustrating experience actually became reassuring and pleasant as everyone involved from the office staff to the technicians were extremely helpful and responsive.
Not only was the price reasonable but we very happy to find someone we can trust and recommend to others for all our future plumbing services.
